The Denver Post reports that a California start-up has partnered with Copper Mountain and Winter Park ski areas to offer drone video services this season. The startup-up is reported to be working with $10 million in venture capital funding.

Noting that " and editing are not easy" and "so let us do it all for you" in their YouTube video (below), Cape Productions announced that nine resorts — including Copper and Winter Park — as partners in the company's plan to deliver drone-captured video to ski resort visitors.

"All you have to do is go to any liftline and count the GoPros mounted to helmets to see the demand for this individualized video capturing," Winter Park spokesman Steven Hurlbert said. "This drone video is certainly the next step in that demand."
