There's always so much conversation in the world around the negatives surrounding drones. Surveillance and privacy invasion bubbles to the top. But the world of drones that we see is far from doom and gloom. We're talking about an entire industry that could deploy these to every power line in their city, state or country. Amazing to see that we're on the precipice of huge transformations for the better.
"We want to start using drones next spring when the inspection season begins," said Alan Ettlinger, research and technology director for the New York Power Authority, who attended the workshop.
